GROWING POINTS is looking for a new Development Director who will source more sustainable and support for our successful charity – we are very small but perfectly formed.
Registered with the Charity Commission we operate mainly but not exclusively in the North of England and run a number of programmes to improve the social mobility of people from excluded communities to achieve their ambitions; a significant number of our customers are refugees. We take referrals from partner organisations and match customers with our volunteers – we call them Guardians – who share their professional networks and know- how to get customers into education or work – it is often not what you know but who you know…..
If you are newly retired and want to “give something back” or you are looking for a flexible part time job – working from home – then this is for you!
You would be working two days as part of the Senior Management Team and the role includes:
- Identifying national and local opportunities for funding our organisation from a variety of sources
- Bid writing
- Raising our profile nationally and locally through the effective use of social media
We are offering an honorarium of up to £10k per annum (including expenses) for a minimum of two years.
